FSGA works with state and federal politicians, regulators, lobbyists, as well as individual FSGA member companies to monitor fantasy sports state legislation.
Our legislative efforts are always based on one simple set of goals:
- To ensure that fantasy sports are always considered a game of skill (not gambling).
- To have basic consumer protections.
- To have low or no burdensome taxes, fees, or regulations.
As necessary, the FSGA publishes a Legislative Update Email that goes out to our members on a periodic basis. It contains up-to-date details on our state by state efforts as well as an easy-to-follow chart that measures all state laws as they compare to our goals.
